Title
Balancing Life Through a Straight and Narrow Path
Artist
Cyril Maza
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
This painting relates to our everyday lives, wherein we have to balance our choices and priorities in making decisions, but remain in the right way.
This is partially inspired by my childhood experience in the Philippines, where I had to cross a river on a narrow log bridge, to go to another "baranggay" (barrio). This is also inspired by the words of Jesus Christ, who said, "Enter ye in at the strait gate... because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).
This is a 24" X 30" acrylic painting on canvas.
It shows two kids crossing a river, through a log bridge.
I finished this painting on August 20, 2015.
