"A Moment with Dad" is the first in Cyril Maza's series of parent-and-child paintings. So far (as of April 2013), he has completed three paintings in the series. He painted all of them in the first quarter of 2013 (from January to March 2013).

This painting portrays a father and a baby girl. The father is shown holding the baby girl in his arms, while they look at each other, eye to eye.

Cyril Maza had added halos around the heads of the characters in this painting to make their dark-colored hairs stand out in the dark background.
