Love the composition with the arch of the tree branches above the happy scene, Cyril - great!

Brings back so much memories of my childhood too looking at this and your gallery...We spent time eating durians instead...Such 'kampong' or community scenes are sadly lacking in the cities these days...Thank you for sharing your beautiful and nostalgic work! f/v

Your depiction of the happy children enjoying some mangos while "helping" at the harvest is so true to life - great job, Cyril! L!

Mmmmm mangoes...We had two different mangoes trees in our backyard...when little kids we sold them in our front door....Beautiful scene Cyril....Love it!!! F/L.
Cyril Maza replied:
Thank you, Clotilde. We too had mango trees in our yard back in the Philippines. This painting reminds me of those days when we would pick green mangoes and eat them with bagoong (fish sauce).
